is committed to reducing its impact on the environment by continuously
improving the environmental performance of its operations and its
estate.
This year, Finesse
Hotels are looking to become more proactive in the demonstration
of our commitment to sustainability and maintenance of the natural
Environment.
Excess carbon emissions,
wasted energy and ozone depletion are all having a devastating effect
on the Earth and as a company we feel that it is our duty to fully
commit to the introduction and maintenance of positive environmental
practices within our workplace and will not only ensure that all
of our employees are fully trained in these practices, but will
also attempt to relay the importance of such practices to our customers,
suppliers and business associates.
Where practicable, the Company
will provide information and assistance to customers on environmental
issues arising from its products and services.
Our current practices include:
• A linen reuse program in all guest rooms across all hotels.
• Usage of energy saving light bulbs reducing consumption
by 80%.
• Installation of dual flush toilets and toilet tank fill
diverters for reduction in water consumption.
• A group bulk buy initiative to reduce transportation requirements
for supply to the hotels.
• Eco training initiative to staff who are educated to turn
off electricity and heating when possible and to guests who turn
off TV's and lights in room.
• Recycling bins in all waste areas for glass, cardboard and
paper.
• Purchase 'Energy Star' appliances for all future purchases.
• Optimize insulation throughout all areas.
• Incentives offered to sustainable living / environmental
organisations who use the hotels.
• Increase the use of recyclable and renewable materials across
all sites.
• Voluntary guest carbon offset charge in place with accommodation
and conference business to contribute to tree regeneration.
• 'Fair Trade' products usage
• Group marketing literature produced on recycled paper.
• Rain water capture for flora regeneration

to consider the environment in all practices, we agree to create
an internal culture for environmental awareness to all staff, suppliers
and customers in contact with the group at any stage. We agree to
keep this as part of our company development in order to review
and restructure this policy for the benefit of the environment at
