When is Check in & Check out?

Check in is from 3pm & Check out is 11am

Can I Check in Early?

We can’t guarantee an early check in but if your room is ready you are welcome to check in early

Can I get a Late Checkout?

Late checkout is subject to availability & is chargeable. Checkout at Midday is an additional £10 & checkout at 1pm is £25

Is there a charge for an additional guest?

All our rooms are double occupancy & so the only additional charge would be if breakfast is included in your rate. Some rooms have the capacity for extra beds to be put into the room & if available this is charged at an additional £25 per night

Is the Hotel accessible?

The hotel reception has three small steps to access it. We have two ground floor superior rooms which can be accessed via another entrance with no steps. These rooms are suitable for those with limited mobility, please contact the hotel to discuss your requirements prior to booking. The pub is accessible from the street and is where we serve breakfast

Can you store luggage?

We can store your luggage on the day of arrival and/or departure but do not have the facility for long term luggage storage

How Old do you have to be to book a room?

To book & stay in a room you must be at least 18 years old. Children are very welcome when accompanied by an adult

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit & debit cards, including American Express, and cash. However, we do require a credit or debit card to secure all bookings

How do I change or cancel my reservation?

If you have booked a flexible rate then you may cancel up to 2pm the day prior to check in. If you have booked a non-refundable rate then cancellation is not possible. If you have booked via an online travel agent then you will need to cancel with them directly.

Are you close to the Train station?

We are a ten minute walk from the train station

Are you close to the Motorpoint Arena?

We are a six minute walk from the Motorpoint Arena

Do you have onsite parking?

We don’t have parking on-site and so we recommend parking at the Fletcher Gate secure car park (NG1 1QE) which is a one-minute drive from the hotel & a four-minute walk back to the hotel. Current charges are £17 for up to 24 hours or a reduced overnight rate of £14 if you arrive after 5pm & leave before 10am the next day (prices correct as of January 2024)

Do you have a loyalty scheme?

You can download an app & collect stamps every time you stay with us. Stay nine times and get a free nights stay

Can I smoke in the hotel?

Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere within the hotel

Do you offer corporate company rates?

If you travel regularly for business we can set you up with a corporate travel rate, we can even include parking in your rate if needed.

Are there interconnecting rooms?

We have three sets of interconnecting rooms. Each set of rooms includes a deluxe double & king room

Can I bring my dog?

We love welcoming your furry friends to stay & we have one room in each category that is designated as pet friendly. There is an additional £25 per stay charge to bring your four legged friends with you

Is there a minibar in the room?

All of our rooms have mini bars containing beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks & treats. These are all charged on consumption.

Do you offer room service?

We offer a 24 hour pizza menu that can be delivered directly to your room

Is reception 24 hours?

Our reception desk is manned 24 hours. At night the front door is locked, but there is an intercom system that wll allow you to come & go as needed.

Do you have a gym or pool?

We don’t have a gym on-site, but we offer a discounted day pass at the Virgin Active Health Club which is only a 10-minute walk away. They offer a range of facilities which include a gym, pool, sauna and steam room.

Where would you recommend for some shopping?

Nottingham is spoiled for choice when it comes to shopping, both for big brands & smaller independent stores (we have the most independently owned & operated shops per square mile outside of London) Bridlesmith Gate, Victoria Centre, Milton Street & Clumber Street are great places to start

What is there to see & do in Nottingham?

We are right in the middle of the most historic part of the city so there’s so much to see on our doorstep. The national Justice Museum, the City of Caves, Nottingham Contemporary, the Robin Hood Statue & Nottingham Castle are all within walking distance.
